SRUJAN Mass Application

Creating individual orders/shipments in OTM is a tedious and time consuming process specially when there are multiple orders/shipments to be created. Transport coordinators/planners have to manage this order/shipments information in excel by entering the data manually which may leads to errors and the process is monotonous. Enforcing business specific validations using OTM standard sometimes create edit screen on each order/shipments is inaccuracy.

To resolve these issues, the SRUJAN team has come up with the ideation of managing the content in widely used MS-Excel and upload into OTM for creation, updation and deletion of orders.

Creating individual orders in OTM is a time consuming process when there are multiple orders to be created. The transport coordinators / planners manage the orders information in excel and / or manually enter them in OTM. SRUJAN's Mass Order Upload add-in provides the facility to upload orders information via Excel or CSV file format.
Manually adding order/shipment events in OTM is cumbersome process when we have huge number of orders/shipments to add events for non EDI capable carriers. This process will take lot of time for carriers to enter one by one event for order/shipment via OTM carrier portal. This may lead data entry errors which may cause OTM workflow failures.
This tool enables users to release the order base based on required weight/volume/quantity/etc.
Entering individual shipment actuals information in OTM is very time consuming process when there are multiple shipment actuals to be entered. The Suppliers / OTM users can manage the shipment actuals information in MS-Excel. SRUJAN's Mass Shipment Actuals (MSA) application provides the facility to upload shipment actuals information via Excel or CSV file format.
The main purpose for this tool is to edit the selected shipments from OTM regular finder screens to modify the similar data for all shipments. urrently OTM provides the group edit on certain fields on the shipment but not all.
Creating individual Events in OTM is a time consuming process when multiple Events to be created. SRUJAN’s MTEU application will help to manage the Events within the spreadsheet and load into SRUJAN App for Events to create. This application can be used in place of EDI integration messages (ex: 214 / 312 / etc). Customizable data entry elements / fields are possible based on the custom requirements. Event creates in OTM without matching to existing shipment(s), this can be configured if the match process to be done before event create in OTM. The MTEU application provides the SRUJAN mass upload applications standard features like error handling, finder screens, front end & server side validations, etc.
Creating individual Invoices in OTM is a time consuming process when multiple Invoices are to be created. SRUJAN’s MIU application will help to manage the invoices within the spreadsheet and load into SRUJAN App for invoices to create. This application can be used in place of EDI integration messages (ex: 210 / 410 / etc). Customizable data entry elements / fields are possible based on the requirements. Invoice creates in OTM without matching to existing shipment(s), this can be configured if the match process to be done before invoice create in OTM. MIU application provides SRUJAN mass upload applications standard features like error handling, finder screens, front end & server side validations, etc.
OTM provides flexibility to get rates for given search criteria using standard OTM RIQ screens. The limitation with this process is, we can only get rates for one lane at one time.

We questioned ourselves, "Can we export rate inquiry (RIQ) results into spreadsheet by entering specific criteria into OTM for multiple lanes at a time?"

Our Mass RIQ (MRIQ) tool provides the flexibility to load the spreadsheet with configurable RIQ input fields and the tool immediately returns back with results for those lanes in new columns on the same spreadsheet. This is a great tool to use for planners, rate loaders & other OTM users for easy rate verifications.

Using this tool, the rate inquiry results will be displayed within seconds for various lanes.

Quick Shipments Events (QSE)

This application serves the similar objective of MSU application with different approach. Carriers / OTM users will select the shipments from OTM shipment finder screen to add the required shipment events, MSE application will provide customized quick shipment events screen for all selected shipments, carrier / OTM user adds the required events for each of the selected shipments & submits to OTM. Triggers OTM standard workflow process after shipment events added to shipment. Easy to setup and train users on usage of this tool. This tool can also setup to enter shipment events for selected order releases from order search screen.

Quick Order Events (QOE)

This application serves the similar objective of QSE application but on Order than Shipment. OTM users will select the orders from OTM order finder screen to add the required order events, QOE application will provide customized quick order events screen for all selected orders. OTM user adds the required events for each of the selected orders & submits to OTM. Triggers OTM standard workflow process after order events added to order. Easy to setup and train users on usage of this tool. This tool can be customized to use for Tracking Events purpose.

Ready To Ship (RTS)

Users can access RTS application to Release Order Base Lines, and create Shipment with Label Print by using Descartes System with the same User Login. This Application allow users to select multiple Order Base Lines from OTM Standard finder Screens and release Order Bases lines based on the Ship Unit. This Application allows users to Release Multiple Order Base Lines in a single form. User can modify Order Base lines in form based on the user requirement in RTS form.

This Application Support for non-Boeing paid, non-parcel shipments that are being executed with a carrier outside of the carrier user Id in OTM. Using RTS form user can call Descartes and create label for Parcel Shipment. This application will allow the supplier to select a premium service that will drive the selection of a carrier / service level to meet that premium freight requirement. Eg: FedEx next day AM.

For Non-Parcel Order once the RTS is completed then parcel order will be immediately released and planned through standard OTM process. This order will not be part of the bulk planning done for other Boeing Orders. RTS will trigger OTM Standard workflow process after Order Created.

MSA Serialization

Users can access MSA Serialized application to update with same OTM user login. The purpose of the serialization is to improve shipping accuracy and efficiency by tracking shipment package details related to a specific package. The Main Purpose of the Scanning Solution is to support bar code scanning at the ship unit line level while changing the Custom Stauts process. There will be one UPI bar code to be scanned for each package during changing the custom status and the package Item and quantity should be validated against shipment line quantity. System should accept over shipping, under shipping at the time of Loading/Load confirm. Triggers OTM standard workflow process after Shipment updated.
